Engineering Intern
Location: Fort Collins, CO (Hybrid: 2–3 Days Remote)
Stridar is revolutionizing humanitarian defense robotics, and we’re seeking an Engineering Intern to help shape the future of life-saving technologies. As a vital part of our small, global team, you’ll directly contribute to solutions already making a difference in the field. What You Can Expect to Handle:
As an intern with us, you’ll be part of an environment where every task is essential - from building and testing, to troubleshooting and programming, this is a role where you’ll learn, grow, and create technology that serves real-world needs.
You’ll get to work with and learn from some of the best software and robotic engineers that have experience in careers with Defense Organizations, Amazon, IBM, Phantom Auto, and Adobe.
What You Bring to the Team:
Practical experience in testing, troubleshooting, and programming embedded systems
SMD and through-hole soldering experience, including work with components down to 0805 size
Experience assembling wire harnesses: wire stripping, contact crimping, and connector assembly
A passion for learning and rising to challenges
A positive attitude even when the team is under pressure
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
Candidates must be actively pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Graduates are welcome to apply if their degree aligns with these fields of study.
Veterans and candidates with military experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Extra Skills We Value:Familiarity with ECAD tools like Altium, Kicad, or RapidHarness
Knowledge of Python, ROS2, or Linux OS

We are open to considering candidates on either a part-time or full-time basis, depending on availability and preference. Compensation will be determined based on the agreed-upon working hours.
Salary will be paid in the range of $2,000-$4,000 per month. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and work schedule, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
